My name is Tom Riley "TEX" Sammy & I met June 24th, 1987 waiting outside the employment office Jamacia
at 6:000 am for our 7:00 am interviews!
I had flown in from Texas being laid-off from oil fields,
Sammy couldn't believe I came all the way from Texas!
From that day on he names me Tex & we became best
of friends working together in many different gangs & teamed up on many occasions! We had some good times & a lot of laughs! Sammy was a good hearted
guy & very good friend over the 20 years on the Railroad! We lost contact after we both retired.
I often thought of him & very sad to hear he is gone.
I will always remember all the good times we had together & many laughs! You will always be my friend!
God Bless you Sammy! Rest In Peace! You are always in my Prayers my friend! Tom Riley "TEX"
