Dear Maryrose I’m so sorry for the loss of your dad. He was such a great man. He reminds me so much of my dad. He loved his family, work and his garden. I have such fond memories of spending some Saturdays at your house when my dad went to work with your dad. Your family will always have a special place in my heart. We will always be there for you Maryrose.

Dearest Maryrose, We grieve with you for the passing of your Dad, a very kind and gentle man who, along with your dear Mom and Lenny, we so loved!
In years past, a visit to your parents' home always included a visit to your dad's vegetable garden, of which he was so proud. Of course, we were always gifted the fruits of his labor and there would always be a shopping bag full of whatever he was growing, for us to take home. The tomatoes, squash, and whatever else happened to be in season were delicious, but he always complained that the soil was too sandy or too whatever, preventing a bountiful harvest! He knew the hard work it took to make things grow properly, but from our vantage point, we could only judge by the quality of his delicious vegetables.
He worked hard at everything he did - and it showed. He was a great tailor and gardener, as well as a great husband, a great father and grandfather.
His garden and his yard were his pride and joy, but his family was his TRUE pride and joy. He was a soft spoken, gentle man, and a man of a few words. When speaking of you, your Mom, Lenny, and Julianna, however, his countenance changed and there was always an extra sparkle in his eyes. He was so proud of all of you, the true fruits of his labors!
We will miss him, as we are missing our beloved cousin Pauline and Lenny!!!
May God Bless you, Maryrose, and give you comfort in this moment of grief; and when you think of them, all happily reunited in Heaven, may all the wonderful and cherished memories you shared with them on this earth bring a smile to your face!

I’m so very sorry to read this sad news. Leonardo was my tailor for many years ... but he felt like my friend. He loved to chat about anything and everything, but mostly about his wife and family. He loved them so much! Not only did you get the best tailor but a great conversationalist as well! I truly looked forward to my visits to the cleaners. How many people can say that?
I’m sorry Leonardo had to go through the pain of losing his son. I know that pain because I lost my son three years ago. I’m sure they are reunited and celebrating in heaven right now!
I recently read these words on a sign: Enjoy the little things in life for one day you’ll look back and realize they were the big things. I pray his family finds peace and comfort in all their memories, both the big ones and the little ones.
