Obituary of Paul Francis Hentze

Paul Francis Hentze – Of East Northport, on September 5, 2021, 96 years old. Loving husband of 70 years to the late Rita. Beloved father of Kenneth (Judy), Philip, Russell, Christine, Warren, and Andy (Wendy). Cherished grandfather of James, Robert, Zachary, Alexis, and Abigail. Dear great grandfather of Kelly, Tara, Iris, Juniper, and Fern. Born in the Bronx on August 5, 1925 to the late Emmaline Mary and the late Peter Paul Hentze. Paul proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. An electrician by trade, he built his home in East Northport in 1955 and remained there for the rest of his life. He was an avid golfer and loved camping, woodworking, gardening, and travel. He had a wonderful life and leaves behind a treasure trove of fond memories and stories for his family and friends to remember him by. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
