My heart aches to hear the news of Sals passing. I was the sacristan at St. Philip Neri for two years before leaving for college this fall. Sal was at the 9:30am mass every week and would love helping me with the collection. He always had the biggest smile on his face when I would go to talk to him for our weekly chats. All of the children at church would love putting money in his basket as he greeted them with such kindness. He would ease my nerves about starting college at Bucknell University with his wisdom, and by telling me of his sons positive experiences at Bucknell. Sal was one of a kind. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He had all the confidence in the world about me being successful in college. I will always think of him and strive to make him proud. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

There aren’t enough words to describe what a caring, generous and loving person Sal was. Always with a big smile, huge heart and a sparkle in his eyes. He will be sorely missed. Note to Sal: Sal, whenever we hear “If You’re Happy and You Know It” we will clap our hands and think of you. We’ll miss you greatly. Much love, Benedetta & Frank Campisi

Sals smile was as big as his heart. He always welcomed my family to his home and enjoyed having all his grandchildren and there friends over to do some boating or just hang out. He was truly a wonderful giving man. We will miss Sal tremendously. Rest In Peace. Saporito family

I have never met a grandpa who loved his babies more than Sal. Every time he looked at one of them his smile lit up the world. Our hearts are filled that Audra was part of your wonderful family. We always felt so welcome in your home. Keep singing with your brothers. They need your voice. Love you Mr Triolo. Linda and George
