I was a classmate of both Leanora and Richard. I am so very saddened to hear of your loss. I remember Leanora as a very nice person. As I get ready to celebrate the Northport High School class of 1970's 50th reunion (postponed from last year), I mourn her untimely loss. May you, her family and friends find comfort in your shared memories, in your faith and in each other. As you reminisce, may there be lots of smiles sprinkled in among your tears. I will always remember Leonora's sense of humor and positive life attitude. Thankfully I had a chance to hear some of her old anecdotes while chatting over our neighbor fence. She will be very much missed.

I will miss you so much, my friend. With whom will I laugh now? We’ve been friends since 1st grade. We were in each other’s weddings. My children always knew, when Mom was on the phone with Aunt Leanora, she was not to be disturbed for at least an hour! Rest well, Leanora. You’ve earned it. Stay close to the back door-to let me in when it’s my turn.
