My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Anthony Maceli. It is a heartbreaking to realize what he is not with us anymore. Tony was my mentor, good friend, best supporter, biggest fan, colleague and very charming gentleman. He inspired me to became a teacher and the lecturer and he was teaching me how to be a good one. Tony loved his students, always dedicated to our success. He was very knowledgeable and patient. Great asset to Design industry of Long Island. His sudden death is tremendous loss to our Design’s community. May his memory be eternal.

So many memories since we met way back in the sixties when Monica and I were in nursing school. We will miss your warm personality!! Rest In Peace Tony.

This was from October, 2019. Tony was planning on honoring the students who had become hard working designers. He planned to recognize them every year at the Bidoli awards. Best Interior Designer On Long Island. His own idea. Then the pandemic hit. I was honored that he asked me to be the one to introduce him at this event. We worked together for 15 years. He truly cared about all of the students and how he could help them. He was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
