Gene L. Minetta of York, Pennsylvania, formerly of Northport, on December 28, 2021. Proud U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran. Retired pharmacist technician at the Northport Veteran's Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Leanora (nee Nisi). Loving son of Joan and the late Frederick Minetta. Dear brother of Jo-Ann Walsh, Stephanie Minetta, the late Salvatore Minetta and the late Cynthia Minetta. Cherished nephew of Rosemarie & Robbie Lerner. Also survived by his fiancé Barbara Mardosa, the Thoman family: Gerri-Jean, Michael, Matthew, Jillian, Alexis, Ava & Michael Jr. and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours 6-8 PM on Tuesday. Funeral Mass 10 AM on Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Church, East Northport. Interment to follow, with U.S. Army Military Honors, at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
