2020 Boston hospital. The last time I saw Marlboro scared to loose him then due to health reasons I visited everyday because I wasn't ready to loose him then just like I am not now. I miss & love you

The greatest memory / story of Mark & I. Patti my deepest condolences. You know the love I had for Mark and just love sharing the story of him It breaks my heart to be saying this final goodbye. In 2018 when we met in the program you knew the message. You helped so many people including myself. You were sweet kind & wise ! When you spoke people listened. we always stayed in touch & you cobrinued for years to pick me up when I needed ( & there has been quite a few times ) you were a sweeetheart & a true gentleman. Your one that will be unforgettable and I am positive others feel the same way. I last saw you in 2020 in the Boston hospitals not sure if you were going to make it. I wasn't ready for it then and stil am not now. You were great at teaching and passing the message. If only you were able to grasp a tight enough grip on it to pull you from your deep active addiction & pain. I'm happy your at peace bur sad your not here. Like I told you in 2018 " don't you forget about me" ( the song was a commercial that played constantly during our time at the program so it was an inside joke) we stayed in touch after that , which realistically doesn't usually happen. We last spoke Jan 7th planning to get together since you were back in Boston. :( oh how I wish that happened before you left us for good I hate that you got so wrapped up in your own addiction that although you knew the message you were great at helping others but could not help yourself. I am glad you are no longer suffering ! And PLEASE continue to look over me just like you would if you were still walking this earth. Love ya homie

Dear Patti , I am tremendously sorry for your loss . I would just like to convey that mark was a great friend to me over the years and was a big reason I have been able to stay clean over the years. I went through the Miller house with mark and worked with him at the car wash in East Falmouth for years. Mark was a great friend and a truly giving person a trait which he attributed to his strong mother. I will live on carrying his memory and all that I learned from him . David P
