I was stunned to learn of Fred’s passing. I bought a house from him and after the sale he was always so very helpful when I had questions about anything regarding the house and more. Though I hadn’t seen him in a few years, I felt so sad to hear about him passing. I am so thankful that I bought a beautiful house from you. RIP Fred.

I first met Fred at Hunter Mountain during the Celtic Festival in the summer of 1997. It was the first summer without my great-grandmother and my sister and I were feeling sad. Fred came up to me and said I reminded him of his first grade teacher, Mrs. Brown. I happened to be teaching 1st grade at the time. From that night, anytime we bumped into Fred, Tim, Mike (“Freddin”) and company, he would yell, “Mrs. Brown!” We became fast friends! We shared laughs that weekend, again in the Hamptons, at Napper Tandy’s and again with my whole family in 2006 when I was pregnant with my daughter. He got to meet my husband and my son. My father and Fred bonded over the Marine Corps and Fred later built the foundation for the addition on my house. I’ll be forever grateful that he lifted my spirits that summer. God speed, my friend. I hope you and my dad are celebrating Veterans Day together.

Fred you definitely left us too early! We always had a good laugh about wrestling in HS and then later in life made the unlikely reunion in a Irish Dance Studio. I'm glad I wrestled you when you were 16 and not 22. I'm sure you're already pulling out the mats in Gods wrestling room. Rest in peace my friend.

Fred was a man of little words but always one of action. I was blessed to recently rekindle our teenage friendship. He adored Ellen , the triplets, patrick and 2 sams. The community has lost a great one for sure. I will always smile remembering our short time spent together and celebrate his life. God bless you freddy. Until we meet again Love ya
