Obituary of Kathleen Mary McGrath

Kathleen "Kay" McGrath (nee Galligan) on March 24, 2022. Our beloved Kay has finished her journey. The child of two Irish immigrant families, the Duggans and the Galligans. Kay grew up in the Bronx surrounded by loving parents, aunts, uncles and cousins; connections she cherished her entire life. Always adventuresome, Kay joined TWA and traveled the world for many years. Kay married the love of her life, Raymond Bowery (deceased). Kay is survived by her two daughters Jennifer Bowery and Laura Bowery, her grandson Jackson, granddaughter Ella, Sisters Rosemary Collier and Eileen Maxwell, and many nieces and nephews. Visiting Monday 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass 10 AM on Tuesday at St. Philip Neri Church, Northport. Interment to follow at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale. Donations to the Alzheimers Association (alz.org), in her memory, would be appreciated.
