Obituary of William D. McCoy

Obituary of William McCoy - 1934-2021

Bill McCoy died on September 28, 2021. He spent most of his life in

Northport/East Northport and graduated from the local schools and Long

Island University. Bill was a veteran of the US Army and worked for Ma

Bell. Eventually he owned his own telephone business. Bill loved the

outdoors and fished, hiked and camped. He spent many a summer

swimming in the Long Island Sound. He loved golf and was very proud of

his three holes in one. He relocated to New Smyrna Beach Florida in

2019. Family includes his wife Terry (Triolo), daughter Susan (Jim Neylon),

son Dan (Ellen Trigg), daughter Maureen (Bill Cruscial),and son Kevin

(Adriane Flamm), six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A

celebration of his life (Travels with Bill) will be held at Nolan's on August 20

from 2:00 to 5:00.

Bill was many things to many people. In lieu of flowers, please bring a

good memory to share
