I am so deeply saddened by the passing of my Cousin Skip (Philip Bucher). He was my role model when I was a young boy and the closest thing to a brother I will ever have. He was totally responsible for my "MUSTANG ADDICTION" and was a huge influence on my choice of a career path. Cars were our thing...and even though we didn't see each other often enough we both held onto this passion to this day. Some of my fondest memories were going to Islip Speedway every Saturday night with our Dads and spending quality family time together. We would watch modified and the figure 8 races and the four of us spent some great family time together. I had 8 Mustangs thanks to Skip. He was my idol and I wanted to be just like him. He was the kindest man you will ever meet and would do anything for his family without expecting anything in return.
My deepest condolences to Sandy, Tory, Jesse and Auntie Ann. Although I am far away , I will be with you to pay my respects to one of the greatest men in my life. RIP Skip...All Our Love, Jeffrey, Kathy, Nicole and Anthony

My deepest condolences to the Bucher Family in this time of sorrow. My heart goes out to Sandy , Jessie, Tory and family . Phil was the kindest and gentlest person I every met . He alway had a positive upbeat attitude. I had the pleasure of working with Phil for many years as his Navistar Parts Representative. Phil was a pleasure to work with . His knowledge and dedication to the the Dealer parts business was extraordinary. We shared many good memories especially our fishing trips to the 1000 Islands Region . Phil was a dear friend and I will miss him. My deepest condolences to his family and friends . Rest In Peace ,,,God Bless ,
Sincerely

We are so very, very saddened by the unexpected loss of Skip, Phil Bucher, a hardworking man of honesty, integrity, kindness, always ready with a smile and a story to share, the best kind of human being there is. Through work, there is a long history of knowing him and learning early on that he epitomized being a true 'salt of the earth'. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers go out to Sandy, Jessie, Tory, his Mom, other close family, friends, and whoever else was blessed to know him. He will be greatly missed by all. May God Bless Phil and keep him in His loving care and may Angels surround the family and bring them comfort and peace now and in the days and weeks ahead.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Peter, Catherine, Alex and Kate Nettesheim

My sincere condolences to the Bucher family for the loss of this wonderful man. He was truly one of a kind and didn’t have a bad bone in his body. He always saw the best in people and was loved by so many. He will be terribly missed. I’m heartbroken at the loss of my good friend and hope God guided him into heaven on angels wings. May he rest in eternal peace.

I met Phil in 9th grade. We were both car guys, but he knew what he was doing, me not so much. Neither of us were very athletic, but, if Walt Whitman HS had a drag racing team, Phil would have lettered ! We kept in touch over the years, through marriages, kids, jobs, etc. Phil was a straight up guy, honest, what you see is what you get. He loved his family, and worked hard to give them a good life. When he got sick in June, he was here in PA., close to where I live. I had the privilege to see him several times, in hospital, before he passed. Very difficult to see his condition steadily decline as rapidly as it did. I pray for Sandy, Jessie, and Torrie, that their many memories of Skip, will bring them comfort and peace

I am so very sorry for the loss of Skip. A true family man who always took others into account with his kind gestures. You could pick up where you left off no matter the passage of time. May God bless you all and hold Skip in the palm of his hand.
