Dear family, Hugh and I met Carol and Frank at the beach and immediately felt connected. Carol's cheery attitude was contagious. We both worked in Melville and I never took lunch breaks. Carol made me go for walks and sometimes we would substitute these with picknicks at Farmingdale botanical garden.
Carol understood people and had a big, loving heart.
Carol, we miss you very much.
With love, Hugh and Elke

I only thought of Heaven as a Holy place. Yesterday, sitting at a red light, I saw a clear image of Carol and Frank flying in a corvette together laughing holding hands. She made me see Heaven as fun. That never occurred to me before.
Thank you Carol.
Always.

Carol and I were best friends at Westbury Hugh School…cheerleaders…instigators…laughing and crying together. I was at her and Franks wedding, Adrienne’s wedding and though I moved far way, we kept in touch. I called her “Sunny” because she was always smiling, and she called me “Jubes”.
I know she and Frank are dancing in heaven❤️. She talked nonstop about all of you children and grandchildren. You will remember her great love for you and carry her in your hearts.

Carol has been an extraordinary friend for the last 50 years! Who would have known I could meet such a great friend when we purchased our first home directly across the street from Carol and Frank and create such a bond! Our children played together, we barbecued together and dined out together. Carol loved her lobster and she was the one who introduced me to lobster! She even showed me how to eat a whole lobster on one of our outings to Glynn’s restaurant! Carol and Frank were Godparents to my daughter, Cathy. She always called me on my birthday and sang “Happy Birthday” to me in French! She was a caring person and will be forever missed. Love to all her children and thank you for being so good to her! I will be here for all of you!
Rest In Peace my dear friend and give Frank a hug and a kiss for me.
Love always,
Sandy
