Uncle Tony and family, on behalf of my mother who’s asked me to write, Ann Hancar from Montreal, asked me to give her sincere condolences to such a wonderful and enchanting man! She will always remember his fantastic humour on a day she needed it the most! He had the right comical jokes to enlighten the evening. May he definitely RIP and enlighten once again, his beloved wife Mary. She said may Tony and Mary be together again, as she wishes this, one day for her and her John. God bless everyone!

I grew up in West Hempstead starting in 1953 and my parents took me to the Estates Barber Shop. From 1953- 2019 Tony was my barber. 66 years with Tony only when I went to college was there a separation. He was not only a wonderful husband, father and friend but Tony was such a gentleman. Never a bad word or thought came out of Tony’s mouth. As kids we would flip cards outside the barber shop and Tony, Jimmy and Paul would always say hello to there boys from WH and Franklin Square. When my neighbor was near death his wife called Tony and he came to give him his final haircut. Tony would also talk about his wife and how sad he was when she passed away. He was very proud of his family and that was his number one priority. For many years Tony had a picture of Paul, Himself and me on his mirror. I was so happy to see that picture whenever I came from my home in Merrick to the barbershop. Tony can never be replaced because he was a legend in so many ways. I look forward to saying goodbye to Tony at the funeral home this Friday! God bless Tony!
