Obituary of Gloria Giaquinto

Gloria Giaquinto (nee Darnaud) of Jacksonville FL, formerly of Northport, NY and Solebury, PA, passed away on 10/29/22 due to complications of Alzheimer's. Beloved wife of the late Peter (3/7/2009). Loving mother of William Amy and Beth. Cherished grandmother of Amy, Brittany and Robin. Adoring great grandmother of Annie, Brody & Carson.

Gloria was a beautiful soul both inside and out.

Gloria had a flair for interior design and fashion. Born in Astoria NY, she had a career in modeling before marrying the love of her life, Pietro Giaquinto. After settling in Northport they raised three children, of whom they were very proud.

Gloria had a wry sense of humor and enjoyed making others smile and laugh. She was an excellent cook and loved to entertain. She spent many hours in her beautiful gardens and her creativity made the lives of those around her rich.

She will be missed by many.

Visiting Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport Friday November 4, 2022, 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass Saturday 11:30 am at St. Philip Neri Church, Northport, followed by a burial at Northport Rural Cemetery.
