Obituary of Joan S. Keenan

Joan S. Keenan, 76, of Northport, NY, formerly of Loudonville, NY, on November 19, 2022. Devoted wife of the late Edward J. Keenan. Loving mother to Andrew (Wendy) Keenan and Jenna (Tom) Powers, and grandmother to Carter, Phoebe, Zolie, and Lola. Sister of Phyllis Barber. Joan dedicated her career to public service, fighting tirelessly for children and custodial parents in New York State. She was an avid reader, talented baker and knitter, and a lover of rescue dogs. Donations can be made in her memory to the North Shore Animal League or another animal shelter or rescue group.
