My friendship with John goes back nearly 50 years when we were young shipmates in the Naval Intelligence Unit in Freeport N.Y. John was ever present with a warm smile and incredible joy. He was well known for his practical jokes which we all looked forward to. As late as last June, he was there as we raised the "What the hell pennant" at our luncheon Navy event. John was always the life of the party and will be greatly missed. Our deep sympathies to his loving wife Barbara who was always at his side. We cannot easily forget this kind and generous man.
Our prayers for the family always.

It’s so hard to grasp that my very special brother in law John is no longer with us! So many wonderful memories with him! He was such a good, patient & generous man! He had a great laugh & was always fun to be around! Our family was blessed to have him in our lives and he will be missed so very much! We never know when God calls us so enjoy those around you & try to make each day special. John is most definitely among the angels now!
