Michael A. Gerner, of Northport Born November 4 1959 died December 29th 2022. Mike graduated Northport High School class of 1977, he maintained close friendship with many of his high school friends and acquaintances throughout his lifetime. He's remembered for his kindness funny stories and his LAUGH ! Mike served in the United States Marine Corps from 1981 to 1985 and he also served as a member of the East Northport Volunteer Fire Department from 1986 to 1994. Mike was pre deceased by his loving mother Patricia Gerner and is survived by his father Alfred Gerner, brother Robert Gerner, beloved nephew Daniel Gerner and his dear friend Evelyn Pretty. Mike was cremated shortly after his death and memorial visitation is at Nolan Funeral Home Saturday January 28th 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by the burial of his ashes with military honors at Northport Rural Cemetery.
