Obituary of John Charles Rooney

John C. Rooney of Northport on January 24, 2023, 61 years of age. Beloved husband of Darlene. Loving father of Kimberly Wise and her husband Nathan, John Rooney and his wife Natalya, Stephanie Rooney, and Samantha DeMaio and her husband James. Cherished grandfather of Jude, Olivia, Edison, Ameilia, Patrick, Katheryn and Remy. Dear son of Margaret and the late Charles Rooney, and son in-law of Suzanne and Eugene Mills. Dear brother of James and his wife Maria and brother in-law of Denise Mills and her husband Thomas. Also loved by his nieces and Nephews Katie, Stephen, Krista and Jace. John was a proud electrician for IBEW Local 25, and had recently retired. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday January 30 at 11 am at St. Philip Neri Church, Main Street, Northport followed by a burial of his ashes at Northport Rural Cemetery.
