Erik Onufrik

1968 – 2023

It is with great sadness that we share that our beloved Erik

Onufrik, 54, of Fort Salonga New York passed away on

February 14. He was the loving father of Sophia & Maya, and

former husband to Jennifer Schumann. He was the son of the

late Anthony Onufrik. He was raised in East Northport New

York. He is survived by his mother Helen and three siblings,

Chris, Marya Bazzoni and her husband John, and Kurt and his

wife Dawn. Loved by his girlfriend, Julie Huml and his four

nephews, grandnieces and grandnephew. He was a talented

carpenter and friend to many who will miss him. He lived life to

the fullest. A Celebration of Life ceremony on Long Island in

the spring is planned.
