Obituary of Robert J. McNaughton

Robert J. McNaughton on April 15, 2023 of Stony Brook formerly of East Northport and Northport, 86 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Iris (1992). Longtime companion of Carol Kovacs. Loving father of Robert F. McNaughton and Donna, and James McNaughton and his wife Jennifer. Cherished grandfather of Theresa Shughart and her husband Mike, Bobby McNaughton, James McNaughton, and Ryan McNaughton. Robert worked for the Department of Sanitation in the City of New York for many years and also spent time as a local bayman but always continued his love of the water. Visiting Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport, NY Sunday April 23, 2-5 & 7-9pm. Funeral service Monday April 24 at 11 am at the funeral home, burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, NY.
