Obituary of Frank C. Gorman

Frank "Skip" Gorman, age 72, of Northport, NY, passed away on May 21, 2023. Skip, born on September 18, 1950, grew up in Huntington Station, NY. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War, earning a Bronze Star with Combat designation for his heroic acts to steer the USS Warrington out of enemy territory after being struck by enemy fire. Skip went on to work for the US Postal Service and in retirement owned and operated ZZ-Tow. He was an avid Harley rider and founder of the Enigma motorcycle club. He loved all genres of music, always had a joke to tell, and was always the life of the party. Skip was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Mildred Gorman. He left behind his wife, Cynthia, of 46 years, son Matthew (Eileen) and daughter Bitsy DeLorme (Steven). Skip was also the beloved Pop-pop to his two grandchildren, Bridget and Ellis.
