I’m very thankful to have had Jeff in my life - he was someone who you could pick back up with, no matter how long had past in between when you last saw each other. He was warm and maybe a little gruff but if he was, that made the warmth all the more special. I loved seeing him at family events.
The most poignant memory I have of Jeff is when, after what was likely soccer practice, Justin, Chris and I were playing baseball in their backyard and while running around I slipped on a rock, deeply gashing my knee in the process. I remember crying out and Jeff appearing, calmly scooping me up and gently loading me into the van, carrying me back to my parents where he, still very calm, let them know we’d probably have to go to the ER. I love that memory.
I’ll miss Jeff but am comforted when I think about the legacy he leaves behind and the impact he had on those fortunate enough to know him.

I met Jeff at his wedding to Pat, and from then on he was always a fun loving friend. He and I teased each other and had a good laugh! He was such a good man and loved his family. I last saw him at his son’s wedding and it was like old times. I’m heartbroken for all of us that knew him. Rest in peace my friend!

I met Jeff when my son , Frankie, started playing sports with Justin. Jeff was a great coach, officially and unofficially, be it baseball,
hockey, football, etc, He gave so much of himself to the boys.
Jeff had a great sense of humor. I can still hear him saying, “You’re killing me Smalls!”
Jeff you will be sorely missed by all who knew you.
My heartfelt condolences, love and prayers go out to Pat, Chris, Justin and the whole Spizuco Family during this extremely difficult time.

I remember meeting Jeff shortly after becoming best friend’s with Jen. I remember going to Montauk with the Spizuco family. I came to learn that Jeff was a huge family man, one with lots of jokes. He raved about the jelly croissants from the Montauk Bake Shop. He made me feel like I was part of the family because I was important to Jen. He even “grilled” my husband when we were dating, to make sure he was good enough for mento date. I’ll never forget his contagious laugh. He was Chris and Justin’s hero and I know that his spirit will live on in all of you. He was such a loving a wonderful man and we will miss him greatly. Sending all of our love and prayers.
Love, Heidi and Tim Nunn

When I think of Jeff, my first thought is of a man completely devoted to his family. I also think of a kind man who helped my son, Al, become a member of the Rockies team in Northport Little League shortly after we moved to Northport. Being a member of that championship team helped my son adapt to our new home and make many new friends. Jeff was my golfing partner for more than twenty years. We managed to hit a few good shots through the years but the real pleasure was in the many stories that we shared about our families and life. I will miss my friend.

I’ve been very lucky to have known Jeff. His quick-witted personality and spunk will not be forgotten. He was a true family man and whoever had the pleasure of knowing him knew family came first to Jeff. He is and will continue to be deeply missed.
There are no words that can mend the heartbreak that the Spizuco family is experiencing, but know there are people around you that wish and would if they could.
May Jeffery Spizuco rest easy. I will forever be calling cookies “coffee dippers” because of you. ♥️

Jeff came into our live 30 years ago when our son, Greg and his his son, Chris, became friends at Ocean Ave. Elementary School.
Jeff coached the boys through baseball and soccer. He was a constant presence at Scouting activities. His relished the boys accomplishments with contagious enthusiasm and supported them with kindness when they experienced disappointment. He taught the boys to become caring and strong men not by words but by his actions. We are forever grateful he and his family are part of our lives. With love, Laura and Gary Rozmus

For the past 2 years, Jeffrey has been my mentor, we kept in touch daily due to our project. He was not only my mentor and colleague but became a close friend. I kept bugging him to finally go to the national meeting because we had to meet. And when we did, we saw each other across the bar, and gave each other the biggest hug. Before the night ended he looked for me, even with so many people at the conference and gave each other one last hug and said goodnight. Thank you for the guidance throughout the years Jeff, the laughs and for always having my back. You made me feel like a star and gave me the confidence to keep going. I got our project from here Jeff, it's time for you to take that vacation I got it from here and I will try my best to make you proud. I will miss texting you every week to remind you of our daily meetings, and will definitely miss seeing your face through via zoom every Thursday. My sincere condolences to the Spizuco family. My deepest condolences to all of Jeff's family and friends. May God's grace find you and fill the quietness in your days with good memories and give your heart peace.
Jeff spoke fondly of his family; and was especially happy when he spoke of his grandchildren.
Soon after I joined the Sales Team, and in the many years after, Jeff was a great source of knowledge and support. When we didn't see eye to eye, his would end the conversation by telling me to be quiet. It always made me laugh as I saw it as a win.
Jeff gave me pieces of advice that still help me today.
- Do not take criticism to heart, it is only business, criticism is mostly directed to the business not the at the person.
- It is what it is, do what you know is right and move on.
His humor and professionalism will be missed.

Our dearest Jeff, you were always full of jokes and yet very straight forward / professional /respectful and no-nonsense kind of person. You were truly a good person and loved your family dearly. I will miss all the funny stories you used to share about your sons (especially the police officer son). I hope you enjoy your time beyond the pearly gates and dance with the angels on the golden shore. I'd like to say rest well, but I think there is a lot to do and see in heaven.
