Obituary of Lorely Campos Dalimot

Lorely Campos Dalimot of Northport, passed away on August 26, 2023. She was 90 years of age.
Lorely was born on April 2, 1933 in Manila, Philippines. She was a proud graduate of the Philippine Women’s University in Manila. She worked as a Presidential Assistant in Community Development, and in administration at the Bureau of Internal Revenue Services. Lorely married Amante in June of 1965 in Manila. She joined him the following year as he started his four-year residency at Kings Park Psychiatric Center in New York. Lorely enjoyed life’s quiet pleasures: tending to her orchids, knitting, bird watching, playing classical piano, completing crossword puzzles, and lovingly caring for her grandchildren. She was a beloved wife of the late Dr. Amante Cruz Dalimot, and devoted mother to Gail Chin and her husband Herman, Michelle Hassman and her husband Russell, and Lorelie Kearns and her husband Thomas. She is a cherished grandmother to Christian, Hunter, Logan, Lorely, Sophia, and Isabel. Lorely is survived by her sister Elizabeth Campos Bandong, and many loving nieces and nephews. Lorely will be greatly missed by all whose hearts she touched.
