Regina was one of my first neighborhood friends in Eatons Neck. She welcomed me to Essex Drive and helped me with any questions about our local schools and town almost 20 years ago. Kelsie, Kyle and Jake were a few years older than our preschooler when I first moved in. We had 2 more children who were lucky enough to have amazing Robinson babysitters at the suggestion of Regina. Our kids looked out their windows yelling in excitement when they knew a Robinson kid was heading to our house. I always looked forward to a beautiful day during the week when the kids were at school. Regina would grab an extra chair from her backyard to bring into the front so all the moms could hang out together for a bit of fun on our own. I knew I had someone to help with a baby or anything I needed which is wonderful and lucky. Truly a neighborhood most do not have. Then when the kids got off the bus they played basketball together or rode bikes. It was a magical time full of fun and laughs that will always make me smile. I am so grateful for the time we had together. Our deepest sympathy to Doug, Kelsie, Kyle, Jake and all family members. We are heartbroken to be without our neighbor and friend. Essex is not the same without her.

My beautiful, dear friend Regina.
We have been friends for 46 years and I love you like a sister. So many laughs and so many tears. We laughed so many times over the years about the story when my high school boyfriend first met you and said you had such big, blue eyes, and I said, “Oh, I don’t think they are that big or that blue. Haha, who was I kidding? The biggest, and bluest eyes I have ever seen. And though I was terribly jealous of your gorgeous eyes (and hair…jealous of that gorgeous mane of hair too) we still became such close friends. I discovered, beyond that great beauty, was a super smart, kind, caring and loving friend. I loved it when you laughed so hard, that you would tear up and had to wipe away those happy tears in those big, blue eyes.
My list of memories with you seems endless. High school, college, jobs, weddings, and children. Not many people can say they share a wedding dress with a friend. We called it our dress.
I will end with my favorite Regina quote, which I have used many times, and always give you credit for:
“Take my advice, I am not using it!” Regina Gorman Robinson
I will miss you so much, and hope you come and visit me sometimes, when you are not watching over Doug and the kids. I will carry you in my heart, always.

In memory of our dearest Neighbour,
Regina always shared her smiles with everyone who came by. Her generosity of spirit was beyond compare. Our family owes her and her incredible family so many thanks.
She welcomed my nephews every 4th of July to swim in her beautiful pool. The boys nicknamed it, Paradise Falls! She never failed to invite them over. It was her generosity that helped make their visit to Uncle Bob and Aunt Sue, who are pool less, way more fun.
We will miss her dearly.
Our love and condolences to her loving husband Doug and her beautiful children, Kelsie, Kyle and Jake. (Maggie too!)

Dearest Regina,
The end of Essex Drive will not be the same without your beautiful smile, kind nature and fun loving attitude. One day we will all meet again under a big tree, share drinks on a silver tray, and chuckle about those summer days with so many kids. Until then, rest in peace and know that you will forever be admired.
Sending deepest sympathies to Doug, the kids and the extended family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Linda
