Dear Karen, John, Tara, Keith & wife Darlene,
I cannot recount the many long years of friendship with Dougie and the entire family. When I heard this news today my heart stood still and a million memories flashed before my eyes. I am at a loss to hear about this news. We just spoke a few months back when my mom passed away in March....and although years and distance had escaped us, there was never any loss of love for him or the family. I am just so heartbroken for all of you. Please accept my condolences for your loss and prayers for you all. I love you guys.

This is so heartbreaking, as Doug was a special member of our Cheetah family, and we were a close group. My prayers for Darlene, his family, and his many friends, as he will be sorely missed. Erma and I extend our deepest condolences to our dear Darlene and the family of sweet Doug. We were lucky enough to spend countless hours on the Nissequogue with them singing karaoke and enjoying their company. They supported us through some difficult circumstances and we will always remember those moments. While there are no words that can bring you comfort during this difficult time, please remember that we will always treasure all the times we shared.

I am a former colleague of Doug’s at Experian Marketing Services. We worked together in the NYC office. The culture at that office was second to none - due to all of the amazing people who worked there, which included Doug. I send my deepest condolences to his family and all of his loved ones. Doug was always a positive light in this world, just a purely good hearted soul. As his younger cousin, he was more like an older brother to me. Whenever I was in his presence I would always feel safe, loved, and protected. I will forever cherish all the great memories we have had over the years; especially most recently him being a groomsman at my husband Mike and I's wedding. All the dancing and smiles together from that day will stay in my heart always. He will forever be loved and missed by us both.

So sorry for your loss. I worked with Doug at CheetahMail and what I remember most was his enthusiastic attitude, his ever present smile and his desire to help everyone around him. His spirit will be missed in the universe, and I hope you take some comfort in knowing how many people he touched.

So very sad to hear about the loss of our former colleague, friend, and all-around great guy. Doug was always the nicest guy in the office. He spoke lovingly about his wife Darlene to us, his adorable pups, his frustrating NY Jets, and his passion for boating & the LI Sound. I will always remember Doug singing & dancing his heart out on the bus home from a corporate event in Austin, and him kicking our butts in golf. Once a Cheetah, always a Cheetah. We will miss you greatly Dougie.
