Dear Papa, We come to the final first. Gotta say, it is odd this day, Mama's death crushed me and yours made me an orphan on my birthday no less, which I suppose is a bit ironic. I miss you, the you that had a larger than life personality, smart, fun, crazy, loving, generous, kind and yes, even a bit of a stubborn mule at times. We had so many debates on politics, current affairs and they sometimes became heated too, but, we always knew that love was there. You had a real lust for life and that is to be admired and it is to be cherished. We had so many good times and I will keep those memories close. I love you Pops. Cari xoxox

Happy Fathers Day Papa Remember this photo ? It was when I took you & Mama to Lucca, we had such an amazing day & the most delicious meal! Such a beautiful memory. You fell in love with the city as you did everywhere we went in Italy. (Haha) We always had such great fun on your visits & got to explore so much. I just saw an advert for a production of Zefferelli’s 100th anniversary production of your favourite, Puccini’s Turandot at the arena in Verona ! Oh how I wish we could go see that together with Mama…. You loved that opera and the arena so much. Thank you for all you shared with me and gave to me. I love you Pops. Cari xox ♥️

Hi Papa, I know you & Mama are together again & for all eternity. I miss how it was, what once was, strange how quick and short a time we are here for. One thing is certain life will never be the same without you both. I went to the salon yesterday & had my hair coloured auburn, I think you would have loved it. It’s my little tribute to you.
