We are so very sorry to hear of Mr. Roberts’ passing. He was a wonderful, talented, warm, supportive, kind teacher who was pivotal in so many Commack children’s lives including me (Sawmill). Deepest condolences to Mrs. Roberts and family from the whole Ingkavet family.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Roberts passing, may he rest in peace. I had him for many years as a choral teacher at Commack HS and have very fond memories of him (and Mrs. Roberts). Praying for the family during this time and may the wonderful memories of him be of comfort.

The Roberts family were our next door neighbors in Findlay Ohio. We grew up together in the Boy Scouts and playing every sort of game that boys could play. We were free range rough and tumble boys but Paul was always more sensitive, kind and tender. Yes, he could sing! As a young boy I was very close with his sister, Kathy. We were childhood companions and I loved her dearly. John Eisel

So sorry to hear this. But what a life! I will hold all the wonderful memories with me. Especially the memories of Mr. Roberts helping the sopranos find that high note! The man could sing! Condolences to Mrs. Roberts and the entire Roberts family.

he impacted so many lives and created so many memories even if just from the 3 years of JHS. Sawmill Swings into Spring was so much fun and gave so many an opportunity to get a taste of performing.. also, I always suspected he had a soft spot for us football players but that only just confirmed by reading that he played in HS. But my most vivid memory was hearing him sing for the first time. He was always Mr Roberts, our teacher and he would give us a starting note or sing a small part if a song to teach us something but when the OSU men's choir visited and Mr roberts switched from choir teacher to performer, I was absolutely blown away. What a beautiful gift. RIP Mr Roberts
