Obituary of Steven Zachery Kraus

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Steven Zachery Kraus, a loving husband, devoted father, cherished uncle and grandfather, and dear friend to many. Steven was born on June 27, 1947, and left us on November 20, 2023.

Steven's life was filled with a passion for making a difference. Throughout his career as an independent businessman in the print and display industry, he dedicated himself to his work and achieved great success. His entrepreneurial spirit and his innovative ideas left a lasting impact on the industry.

Beyond his professional achievements, Steven was a man of many talents and interests. He had a deep love for sailing, skiing, hockey, and baseball. Steven also loved music from Rock & Roll to Opera, as long as the music was as good as The Beatles.

He was an active member of the Huntington Yacht Club, where he formed lifelong friendships and shared his love for sailing with others.

Steven's love for his family knew no bounds. As a loving husband to Barbara, he always admired and cherished their partnership. Together they created a home filled with an abundance of love, openness, generosity, laughter, and warmth. Here is where Steven shared the many stories of his life’s adventures.

Steven is survived by his loving wife Barbara, elder son Ethan and wife Sharon, their three children, Nathan, Delilah and Max; younger son Aaron, wife Traci, their two children Liam and Sloane: stepdaughter Cindy and husband Richard, their four children, Tashi, Amelia, Charlotte, and David; nephew Jeffrey, niece Lori and husband Steven, their two children Alex and Jaime. 

They brought him immeasurable joy. Steven's presence in their lives will forever be cherished, and his legacy will guide them as they navigate through life's journey.

As we bid farewell to Steven, let us not only mourn the loss of a remarkable individual but also celebrate the beautiful memories he left behind. His kindness, generosity, and boundless love touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts.

Rest in peace, Steven Z. Kraus. Your light will forever shine upon us, and your memory will live on eternally in our hearts.
