Obituary of Nancy Bartow

Nancy Bartow of East Northport, NY on January 20, 2024, 81 years of age. Beloved wife of Doug. Loving mother of Jess Bartow and her fiancé Stephen Franciosa, Jr.; and Clint Bartow and his wife Erica. Cherished Grandma to Ayla, Amber, Alissa and Jack. Loving sister of Fred Spooner and his wife, Kate.  

Visiting will be at Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport, NY, Tuesday January 23rd, 2-5 & 7-9 pm.

Funeral service Wednesday January 24th 11am, Pastor Mark Bigelow of the Congregational Church of Centerport officiating.

Nancy was active with the Centerport and Asharoken Garden Clubs, had an organic garden, studied at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden to become a certified florist, aiding her creativity to make floral arrangements for the Congregational Church of Huntington and freelance work. For many decades, Nancy was very active at the church singing in the choir, as a Deacon and as the floral arranger for services.

Professionally Nancy’s career spanned modeling and acting, awards for copywriting on “Mad Ave” and a rewarding time well spent at Huntington School District as an administrative assistant and as an administrative assistant at Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Biology Program at the Vanderbilt Museum, with a focus on creating a summer camp for students.
