Obituary of Janet Hehir

Janet Frances Hehir French on January 26, 2024.  Predeceased by parents John and Edna (Midge) Hehir and siblings John (Butch) and Patricia. Loving Aunt to Jonathan, David, Brenda, Lee, and Dawn and predeceased by Jesse.  Janet was the “oldest” cousin of the 24 Hehir grandchildren.  She was the first niece in the large loving Irish Hehir Family. The many aunts and uncles who have gone before her have surely welcomed her into heaven with an Irish Cheer.

Janet’s career spanned over 30 years in the Suffolk County District Court as Sr. Court Clerk.  She was proud of her accomplishments and very well respected by attorneys and Judges in the court system.  She had a great camaraderie with her co-workers, which always provided lots of social fun! Rest in Peace, Janet.

Visitation will be held Tuesday February 6th 4-8pm. Funeral services will be at St. Anthony of Padua, East Northport at 11:00am. Burial at St. Philip Neri Cemetery.
