I had the pleasure of having Coach Boccia as my phys ed teacher at Southdown Elementary in the 80s and then had the further pleasure of playing for him on the Huntington HS golf team in the early 90s. He truly was a great teacher, mentor and coach. Always cool, calm, and genuine. Although I haven’t seen him since, I always found myself thinking of him and talking about him with old classmates and teammates. He will be missed!
