With heavy heart and utter disbelief, I offer my deepest condolences to Rachel, Todd Jr. and Charlotte, and to Todd's parents and family. Todd was my broker, but also an extended part of my immediate family. My dad worked with him when Todd first joined Merrill, which is how I came to know Todd over 20 some years ago. He offered so much care to me and my parents, above and beyond what brokers do. My calls with Todd were filled with laughter... and him kindly indulging every single question I would ask him about finances, stocks, etc., and answering me with his insight, and his humor... always his humor. Todd, I will miss you. Thank you for all you did for me and my family. Rest peacefully, friend, knowing the impact you made on so many people who were fortunate enough to know you.

My final note to my brother, Todd C. Russell of Fort Salonga- Rest In Peace!!!!
Services will be held at Nolan Funeral Home in Northport TBD.
In the tapestry of life, some threads are woven with such, depth and richness that their absence leaves a profound void.
My dear friend, from the tender age of four you've been a beacon of warmth, kindness, and unwavering friendship, courage & loyalty.
Your presence was more than friendship; it was a sanctuary, a safe harbor where laughter danced with tears, where joys were magnified, and sorrows shared.
You were not just a companion but a comrade, standing with me and many others in the trenches of life's battles, a true testament to resilience and courage and your enduring kindness.
As we bid farewell to your earthly presence, I find solace in knowing that your spirit will forever linger in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know you.
Your legacy, of love and compassion, courage and camaraderie, will continue to inspire, comfort, and guide us all through the trials and triumphs that lie ahead.
In the silent chambers of my memory, your laughter echoes!!!! Oh your laugh Todd..........I can hear it now, along with your quick antidotes still resonate, and your love and caring for so many endures.
Though parted by the veil of mortality, our bond transcends time and space, eternally cherished and never forgotten.
Rest easy, dear friend, knowing that your journey may have ended here, but your spirit lives on in the lives you've created, and touched along with the memories you have imprinted on our all of our souls.
Until we meet again in the in the next world, farewell, and may you find eternal peace in the embrace of the angels.
You will always be my brother, my confidant, and my dear cherished friend you will be missed dearly.
With love and fond remembrance,
Robert S. Dinan

My deepest sympathies to Todd's wife, Rachel, and to his children. I have known Todd since he began working at Merrill. I am so happy that he became a broker, and as a matter of fact, he was my broker. I will miss him very much. I considered him a very good friend, and we had many telephone conversations. May he rest in peace, and God Bless Rachel and his children.

Russ! I can not believe I am writing this as it feels surreal. Our bond was un breakable! I could not see you for a year or even two and when we saw each other it was as if we were back to our childhood days and we would piick up as if we just saw each other.
You were not a friend to me but another brother. I know you would have done anything for me and I will always do the same and I promise to check in on Rachael, Todd Jr. and Charlotte and always be there to support them. Russ, you were a special person and I will miss you so much. I love you and will never forget the amazing times we had and the special laughs we created. May you rest in peace as your memory is a blessing to all that knew you

My sincere heartfelt condolences to the Russell family. My older brother John and I grew up 2 blocks away on Bowden Dr. and enjoyed riding the trails on our dirt bikes (with baseball cards in the spokes) right behind the Russell’s house throughout our childhood. Todd was 2 years older than me and my brother was friendly with Cliff. Happy carefree memories of a different time in life. Wishing Todd’s family peace during this unimaginable time. God bless.

I was fortunate enough to have worked with Todd at Merrill Lynch for a few years in Melville. He was so dedicated to his clients and was one of the easiest people to talk to in the office. My heart goes out to his wife and children, who I never had a chance to know as I moved on in my career from Melville in 2010. We stayed in touch for a few years but wish that had continued. I hope we can all celebrate his life as he was such a good person and never forget all the laughs we had.
I share this story as one thing I will always remember from Todd, that hopefully sheds light on his humor. I went to a new barber at lunch one day and my haircut got butchered, really bad. I came back to the office and Todd was one of the first to see me. For those who know Todd he made that "I am about to make a joke, but look serious face" and said, Lloyd? Is that you Lloyd? (Lloyd Christmas from Dumb and Dumber, and yes it looked just like it). He called me Lloyd for years after that. I came back to Melville to use office space when my first son was born and the first day using space there, he asked "It is going to Lloyd Tiedemann, Jr. right?"
We are all going to miss you, Todd. Rest in Peace/

Todd's essence lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. His indomitable spirit and unwavering kindness will forever inspire us to live life to the fullest and to cherish each moment.
Your memory will forever shine bright in our hearts and minds. Until we meet again, rest in peace my brother.
