Lincoln was one of the kindest folks I've ever run across. While big in stature it was remarkably equaled by the size of his heart. Generous and caring to virtually a fault, this man (and his family) represent the type of humans we should all aspire to. Wishing the family peace as they say goodbye to an amazing man who does indeed leave a legacy of love behind.

Worked with Vlaun at 179th and at Continental avenue.
“All Around Good People”as my mother would say. It was a pleasure to work and talk with him.
A gentle soul, a friendly man and a person you enjoyed talking too. God Bless!

Lincoln was a true friend to anyone that knew him. When I moved from the busy streets of Brooklyn in the early 60’s to Richmond Hill, Queens, he became the first close friend I had. Grace and more close friends came later. He was the community organizer that started stickball, touch football and handball games among the boys living on our street.
Fiercely independent, he defied the politics of the day, started his own business at a young age and patriotically served in the U.S. Air Force during a turbulent war time while many of our peers did not. Even when we disagreed, Lincoln stuck to being the principled man he has always been.
We love you man, the tough times are done. The respect you’ve earned is richly deserved. R.I.P.

I will ALWAYS remember Lincoln’s big big laugh and his strong voice. Me and my family always loved gatherings with Lincoln, Grace, William, Paul and the entire band of family members that goes along with that. Rest In Peace Lincoln you will always be in my memory.
