Obituary of Lorraine H. Farrell

Lorraine Farrell, 96, passed away on June 9, 2024, at Elderwood Nursing Home in Syracuse, New York. She was born in New York City, NY, and was the daughter of the late Helen and Joseph Ach. She grew up in NYC and spent summers on Long Island, where she met the love of her life, James A. Farrell. They were married on July 13, 1946, for 51 years. They resided in East Northport, Long Island, where they raised three children. At retirement, they moved to the Oneonta area in Upstate New York. Lorraine enjoyed reading, crafting and playing Mahjong with friends. Lorraine was most happy when her family came to visit. She was predeceased by

her husband, James, her parents, and her son-in-law, William Clabaugh. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Clabaugh, sons John (Leslie) Farrell and Frank (Georgann) Farrell. Ten grandchildren, Joe, John, Karrie, Brian, Amy, Jennifer, Jimmy, Tracey, Nicole, Charles, seventeen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. A funeral mass in celebration of Lorraine's life will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at St. Phillip Neri, Northport, LI, NY. Interment will follow at Long Island National Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Lauren Avenue, Northport, NY.
