Obituary of Charlotte B. Leavitt

Charlotte B. Leavitt (nee. DeBetta) of Northport, NY on September 24, 2024. Born on April 23, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY. Devoted wife of the late Michael C. Leavitt ("Big Mike"). Sister of Fern (d. 2013) and Roy (Lorraine). Loving mother of Cindy (Armand) and Dean. Eccentric grandmother of Cassandra (Steven), Zachary, Olivia (Matthew), Michael (Mary-Patricia), and Joseph. Adored great grandmother to Lucas, Eleanor, Adam, Theo, & Palmer. Charlotte was adored by everyone she met. She was a firecracker with a quick wit and was truly a character. She loved animals and her pets, crosswords, gardening, creating artwork with pastels, and she had a song and a rhyme for everything. She was fiercely protective of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Services will be held at Nolan Funeral Home in Northport on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 3-7pm.
