My Auntie di is the most wonderful beautiful amazing person. Right now writing this I hear her voice say, “love you katie, and be strong for your mom please” but I’ll never forget the most amazing family reunions we went to and going to the annual Kentucky derby at your house.

Diane was a devoted member of the Long Island Horticultural Society and brought a beautiful warmth and enthusiasm to all her endeavors for the Society. She was a past President, a Current member of the Board of Directors, and a participant in the new Historical Committee which benefited from her love of history. Everyone who got to know her appreciated her warmth, kindness, and friendly personality. We will miss her very much. Ronnie Brancazio President, LIHS

Our family is heartbroken over the loss of a dear sister-in-law and aunt. We will always remember how special she made Easter Sundays with the egg hunts. and crafts for the kids, her lamb and grandma's soup. And her Thanksgiving ham was always a big hit at our house! She had a way of making everyone feel important and loved. We are so sorry, Jim & James, and hope you know how loved Diane was, and still is, by all of us. Here for you whenever you need us, Love, Bob & Liz, and all of the Garvey Crew
