Dear Carnesi Family, Your dad will never be forgotten by those of us who worked with him during his tenure at NYC Small Business Services as the Director of the market agents when the Fulton Fish Market was under our agency. He did a phenomenal job. He was passionate about his job and more so about his family and friends. He was kind, strong willed, straightforward, and real. He shared his many stories in law, close encounters and fatherly advice. I myself enjoyed his humor and kind soul. He was always someone you could count on to have a listening ear whether it was a professional question or not even work related, you had his full attention. I was sad to hear about his passing recently but I know that his friend from SBS as well Mr. Schwartz who also recently passed not long ago are now sharing a laugh, stories and maybe a drink as they toast to their new life in heaven. I have many fond memories of Mr Carnesi one that comes to mind is when he used to take me and Steve on Saturdays to Lascala restaurant and we use to sit in the back at a good table and he used to buy us a great meal and talk to us. He was a very nice man and I enjoyed those Saturdays a lot. It was a lot of fun. RIP Mr Carnesi Love Gene

I knew Frank around 40 years. After retirement, we kept in contact on Facebook. I remember him pitching in our picnic softball game in 2002. He was a great man and will be missed. Pat D’Auria

Uncle Frank was a great man. He was like a father to me. My dad passed when I was 8 and uncle Frank always made sure we had gifts at Christmas. He also was also very generous.He was always the first one to pick up the check at the restaurant . I really enjoyed spending time with him and seeing him at LakeGeorge and on the holidays. I can only hope to become as good an uncle as he was some day.
