Liz and I were best friends from kindergarten through junior high. We lost touch after I moved upstate my sophomore year but I have so many wonderful memories of our youth. The news of her passing took my breath away as I had just recently been inquiring as to where she was, in hopes of connecting with her again. My heart hurts that she is gone and I pray for all those she left behind.
