John was a great person. I have great memories of him. He had complete confidence in my ability as an engineer when he was General Manager in the Bronx Electric Operation. He often asked for my advice on technical matter and treated everyone with respect and kindness. May he rest in peace and like to extend my deep condolences to the family.
