Beloved husband of the late Doris. Loving father of the Honorable Carol MacKenzie and Doris Smith (Frederick). Fond grandfather of Frederick MacKenzie Smith (Sandra) and Laura Syvertsen (Christopher). Adored great-grandfather of Frederick, Kristen, Owen and Elliot. Words of remembrance will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday February 21, at Northport American Legion Post #694, Woodside Avenue. Private interment Arlington National Cemetery.
