Nancy was a born teacher. By her example, she taught us how to love and live life with joy. She taught us how to give of ourselves without reservation. She challenged us to be better. Just as importantly, she taught us how to face death fearlessly and with grace.
Her body may not be with us anymore, but she lives on in the smiles of the children of Periwinkle, in the minds and spirits of the nurses she trained, in the lives of the patients they treat, and in the hearts and souls of all of us lucky enough to have met her.
