Mrs. Krohr was a customer of our family plumbing and heating business. I started going to her home as a young boy and then young man. Her tough exterior, thin in the right spots let me know that she expected only the very best and she would help me achieve that. Her attention to detail and tireless routine in her own home was evidence to her work ethic. She soon became one of my favorite customers.She and Don showed me that you can be tough, gentle, demanding and nuturing all while having an easy conversation.
My prayers and thoughts go out to the family and all who lost a wonderful friend. She will always be one of my favorites; someone who helped me achieve and surpass some of my own expectations. I know she will be there watching over me when adversity rears its ugly head.
