Scott, Robert W. of East Northport, West Hartford, CT, and Clearwater, FL on June 28, 2008. His wife of over 41 years, Mary, is grateful to have shared his life. Loving and proud father of Christopher and his wife Masumi; Ian and his wife Marlo; Heather; Allison and her husband Kane. Cherished grandfather of Maggie and Nicholas. He was born April 13, 1939 to Miriam and Walter Scott in Inwood, New York. Bob graduated from Stuyvesant High School and Pace University, and served in the U.S. Army. He had a long and successful career in commercial real estate investment and retired from Aetna in Hartford, CT. Known for his loving and generous spirit, Bob dedicated his life to providing for his family, and his greatest joy was spending time with them. We will fondly remember him for his numerous stories, sense of humor, and sweet jump shot. An avid reader and trivia buff, Bob prided himself on being a wealth of useless knowledge. He touched many lives over the years, and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Wake will be held Wednesday from 2-5pm & 7-9pm at Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 9:45am at St. Anthony of Padua Church in East Northport. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the East Northport Fire Departments Rescue division in his name (1 Ninth Ave, E. Northport, NY 11731).
