Mary T. Endres, nee Hickey, 88, of Huntington, NY passed over to her Lord on Saturday, November 8, 2008. She was born Christmas Day, 1919 in Bayside, NY, graduated from St. Agnes HS, College Point in 1937, and was a member of the first class at Queens College, graduating in 1941. Mary was very proud to be honored with her first classmates at the 70th anniversary of the founding of Queens College in 2007. Mary spent several years as a substitute teacher in the Port Washington, NY school system, but is best remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family and friends and was proud of her Irish heritage. She was one of the most loving and happy people to grace this world. Mary leaves her loving husband of 66 years, Gerard, and six loving sons, Jerry, Jim, Kevin, Bill, Tom and Matt. Mary was also a loving grandmother of 16 and great grandmother of 11.
