Bent was in the Fire Dept. with my Dad, and knew both my parents well. I was privileged to be on a committee with Bent to try and save the name of the Laurel Ave School. My biggest memory of Bent was how dedicated he was to the Northport Community, whether it be the schools, the Fire Dept or the American Legion. He was a good man!
