Klug, Mary F. (nee Hordecky) of Northport on September 27, 2009 in her 91st year. Predeceased by Earnest her husband of 62 years. Loving mother of Ernest (Joan) and Robert (Sandra). Caring grandmother of Ernest (Jo Ann) and Eric (Noelys), Kristen and Kevin. Beloved great grandmother of Sarah and Isabella. The young couple lived in Melville, RI while Ernest was training in the Navy and moved to Northport after the war. Mary retired from NY Telephone in 1979 and was active in Suffolk County Homemakers of East Northport, was a member of a local Bible Study Group from St. Philip Neri Church, and became active as a life member of Telecom Pioneers of America. Ernest & Mary were members of the PT Boaters Association. Reposing at the Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport, Tuesday, 2-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Wednesday at 12 PM at St. Philip Neri Church. Interment to follow at Genola Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice in her memory would be appreciated.
