My Aunt MaryEllen was always so encouraging of my creativity when I was a child. Some of my most vivid memories are of her telling me that I should be proud of my art, that a college aged person could hardly do as well. These praises shaped my self perception and I am a creative professional today.
One of the most positive memories of my mom was when Newsday some how had closed down the highway along the beach between Jones beach and Captree. It was open for a family bike ride day. We got some good food at the Manor Deli and were tooling down the Wantaugh pkway listening to Mozart. We had a great day together. God Bless You Mom. Thank you for everything. Love Tim O
My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. May memories bring you comfort and peace. Thinking of you Sean, Timmy and Kevin.
Mary Ellen (Mrs.O)was one of a kind, able to share her love, laughter and conversation with her entire family and the extended family that I was fortunate to become part of! She was my second Mom, and she will live forever our hearts. From GC to Ziti to the Hamptons and beyond, may her memory live eternal.
O'Connor Family my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I remember fondly your mother while I was growing up in Garden City. She was a wonderful woman.
