Nick & I were buddies in Air Force Basic Training. Nick & I got along from the second we met each other. That is, after the Drill Instructors were done yelling at us. Nick loved his coffee, and he couldn't wait until the D.I.s would let us have some with our breakfast. Nick & I had just reconnected about 5 months ago. We had talked about making a trip to NY to see him, and he wanted to come out to Idaho to see us, and the mountains. Unfortunately, neither of us got the chance. I will look forward to seeing my "buddy" in God's wonderful kingdom some day. I will miss my friend, and I will think of him often. Ooh Rah, Nick! You will be missed, and always loved!

Nicky, regazzo mio. My brother from another mother. You will be missed. When I think about you, I remember all the work outs we had, DPA, the diner. All the talks over the a pot of coffee. Nick was always such a great friend to our mutual friend, Linda Vespoli, and I met him through her. Each time I would see him at a celebratory function with Linda, he put a smile on our faces. I feel blessed to have met him and to have gotten to know him over the years. He had a heart of gold, and I pray that he is in a peaceful place filled with tons of love. He has become a true angel to all of those who he has touched throughout his life on earth in so many ways. Nick, we will all miss you, but you will never be forgotten. God bless you. xo

Everything we did we did together. H.S. There are so many memories it's hard to pick and choose which ones to talk about. I guess I will just say that Nick was such a big part of my life and he was always there no matter what the event. Nick was my best friend and I will miss everything about him. From the laughs and the tears, we always managed to be there for each other. A piece of me is gone along with him. He was a gift to us all and the world lost a great man.
