John was the best. He was always available to his staff, professionally and personally. It was my honor to have known him and to have worked with him for these many years. His knowledge in this industry will be his legacy. I will always remember what he taught me. He will be missed by many, especially me.

John represented the empolyers committee at contract negotiations. It was always a pleasure to see John at the negotiations. He was fare and honest and he took very good care of his men and the mutual respect was obvious. Always willing to share his knowledge to anyone who asked. His presence will be missed by the entire industry on both sides of the table. It was an honor and pleasure to have known him and work with him at negotiations. His shoes will be very hard to fill. Rest in Peace John , you will be greatly missed.
